One Simple Graphic:

One Piece Of Timeless Content

Bonnie Ware is a palliative care nurse that sat with hundreds of people as they died. They all shared their biggest life regrets. Bonnie saw five broad themes emerge:

  1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me
  2. I wish I hadn’t worked so hard
  3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings
  4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends
  5. I wish that I had let myself be happier

I printed these out and kept them near my computer to see them daily. Bonnie explores these ideas further in her great Ted Talk.

One Resource:

Naval Ravikant is one of the more unique thinkers I’ve ever encountered. Eric Jorgenson has curated a decade of Naval’s wisdom and distilled it into a beautiful book about money, happiness, and wealth. You can download a free copy of the ebook here. If you prefer audio, here’s a link to the book’s main ideas in podcast format.

“I do not think that there is any other quality so essential to success of any kind as the quality of perseverance.” — John D. Rockefeller
